Funding                           
It takes a village.

Funding comes from three sources. The Property Owners Association and Loudon County provide funds but, by far, the bulk of the funding comes from donations from Villagers. While not mandatory, Villagers have over the past few years donated almost $700,000… that’s not a typo …with the average donation at $100.

The funding provided for a 4,500 sq.ft. addition to the fire house, the upgrading and maintenance of equipment and the purchase of the Fire/Rescue boat. Money is also in reserve for the replacement of one of the fire engines.

An active committee of village volunteers started this fund raising effort and the Village has responded…generously and consistently. That’s a village ongoing attribute.
