Our Equipment
Two Medical Rescue Vehicles (R-121 and R-122) deployed 24x7x365 on the North and South sides of the Tellico Village and equipped to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies.
Ladder 125 is a 1995 Pierce 65-foot Dash Telesquirt® with seating for 6 firefighters and SCBA's (self-contained breathing apparatus) for use when arriving on scene. It features a 1,500 GPM (gallon-per-minute) pump and carries 500 gallons of water. It also has a Class A Foam tank to aid in firefighting along with a 65-foot ladder by Snorkel® that has a nozzle range of 250 to 1,000 GPM. L-125 carries 1,200 feet of 5-inch large diameter supply hose enabling it to span the gap between fire hydrants strategically located throughout Tellico Village. Ladder 125 is the primary response unit on commercial fire calls and responds to other fire calls to provide additional support as directed.
Engine 123 is a 2005 Ferrara pumper built on a Sterling chassis with seating for 3 firefighters including SCBAs (self-contained breathing apparatus) for use when arriving on scene. It carries 1,000 gallons of water and features a 5,000-watt generator, scene lights, and a pre-piped deck gun. With 1,200 feet of 5-inch large diameter supply hose, E-123 can span the gap between fire hydrants strategically located throughout Tellico Village. Its thermal imaging camera is used to check for hidden hot spots. Engine 123 is a primary response unit on Mutual Aid calls and responds to other fire calls to provide additional support as directed.
Engine 124 is a custom-built 2017 Pierce Dash CF pumper with seating for 4 fire fighters and SCBAs (self-contained breathing apparatus) for use when arriving on scene. It features a Pierce 1,500 GPM (gallon-per-minute) pump and carries 1,000 gallons of water. It also has a Class A Foam tank to aid in firefighting along with a remote controlled pre-piped deck gun. Complete with LED scene and directional traffic control lights, E-124 carries 1,200 feet of 5-inch large diameter supply hose enabling it to span the gap between fire hydrants strategically located throughout Tellico Village. Its thermal imaging camera is used to check for hidden hot spots. Engine 124 is the primary response unit on residential fire calls and responds to other fire calls to provide additional support as directed.
Rescue 126 was built on a Ford F550 chassis with seating for 5 firefighters and SCBAs (self-contained
breathing apparatus) for use when arriving on scene. R-126 carries a remote-controlled scene light,
powered by an onboard generator, capable of lighting a wide area from a significant distance. The truck also carries the necessary equipment to respond to and appropriately manage a mass casualty incident.
This includes tarps, covers, canopies, and other triage, treatment, and rehab equipment. R-126 is also
equipped with a 12,000 pound winch on the front bumper. Rescue 126 is a primary response unit on all
Mutual Aid calls and responds to other fire and EMS calls to ferry fire fighters and provide additional
support as directed.
Rescue 127 was custom-built for the TVVFD on a Ford F550 4x4 chassis with seating for two fire fighters.
R-127 carries the Jaws of Life, hydraulic rams, lifting air bags, and other necessary equipment to handle
rescue and extrication of people at accidents. The truck is equipped with LED flood lights to light the
scene, a 3,500-watt generator to power additional lights and tools, and a 12,000 pound winch on the
front bumper. The truck carries SCBAs (self-contained breathing apparatus) and spare air cylinders for
use by the driver and passenger when arriving on scene. Rescue 127 is a primary response unit on all
motor vehicle accidents and responds to other fire and EMS calls to provide additional support as
directed.
Rescue Boat (B-128) is docked at the Yacht Club to respond quickly to aid boaters with medical
emergencies and bring additional firefighting capability from the lake-side to boat, dock, or lakefront house fires. B-128 is being replaced in late 2023. Pictures and details will be added following delivery.
